 Enter the CODA V4 company whose vendor records should be converted

 Select whether to convert only Active Vendors

 Optional: Enter a prefix or suffix value to add to the Vendor number field for easier identification as a Vendor

within CODA V10 or higher.

 **If you have manual backups configured for your CODA environment, you can enter N on this screen and

run the CODA backup process outside of this process prior to submitting the job.

 Press F9 to Submit the Job

 Review the FNI9660010 exception report, make any necessary changes using the Vendor Conversion Cross

Reference Spreadsheet and rerun the job as necessary

5.8 CODA V4 Hierarchy Master Conversion (Optional):

The Hierarchy Master Conversion allows for the creation of Hierarchy Master records within CODA V10 or higher.

**The CODA Financials vendor strongly recommends manually creating this structure within CODA V10 or higher

rather than converting the CODA V4 information using this job.

The CODA V4 Hierarchy Master Conversion job runs an SQL against CODA V4 files, IASCP060 (Hierarchy Node

Definition), and IASCP061 (Hierarchy Node Relationships) and populates a staging file, FNPHIV40 with the V4

information. (The first 6 fields on the file are V4 information and the rest are information available in V10 or

higher.) This data can then be extracted into the Hierarchy Cross Reference Spreadsheet and modified as

needed for the CODA V10 or higher format.
