5.2.4 Enter Element Configuration Parameters and CODA logon information

The information on this screen will be used to log into the new CODA V10 or higher system:

 Enter the Operator and Capability Group that will be used to log on.

The user id entered here should have at least a security level 7 in order to have the authority to do most file

functions within Coda Financials. Users and associated compatibility groups can be located in CODA from

accessing Administration>Security>Compatibility Master as the LEVEL8 logon id. CODA will only show users

with the same level of security as the logged on user and below. In order to view users with security levels of 7,

you must be logged in to CODA as a user with a security level of at least 7 or greater. For this reason we

recommend checking this information as the LEVEL8 user.

 Enter the Element Number and Template Name for Vendor, Customer and Child Customer. These values

designate what element level each will be used for each within CODA Financials

 Reference Code: refers to the info code that is being used for store number (ex: STNO) and reporting level

(ex: CCRL).

 Data Server is the path of the CODA server.

 Optional: If you press F8 to change the password, the following window will display. If using this option, you

will want to confirm that this user id (Operator value at the top of the screen) can log into the CODA Financials

application with the password you supply.

 Enter a password and confirm it.

 Press Enter to accept it or F12 to Cancel
